Well, hello there! I’m Mr. Wheaton, the wooden owl chilling up on the railing at the Grand Chateau Owl, just doing my usual “look wise and pretend I’m not secretly eavesdropping” thing. But let me tell you, today was something special.

Mother’s Day at this fancy joint? Total magic. The place was sparkling—chandeliers glittering, people dressed to the nines, and the smell of early spring everywhere. And oh, the moms! They walked in like royalty with their loved ones which was a scene that I swear, if I had a heart, it would’ve melted. Seeing several generations of women all in one space: grandmother, mother, daughter was a hoot. It was all about those adult sons and daughters, treating their moms like royalty. You know, the kind of kids who are old enough to know better but still can't help but give their moms the world on a silver platter.

So there I was, perched all stoic and serious (obviously), but deep down, I was loving the vibe. Mother’s Day at the Grand Chateau Owl? 10/10, would recommend. Even an owl made of wood can feel the love, you know?
